Who Needs Landing Pages?

Who needs landing pages is often deemed as not so important question for many online marketer or online business owner. Business owner might not understand the importance of landing page for the business growth. It is actually the best part of business to make an investment for. In fact, many still confuse a landing page with a website.

The key difference between a landing page and a website and which one you need to start with. Let’s use layman terms to explain this, think about a website as a house or a mansion with different rooms and you know each room has its own function and you have options so if you don’t want to go to the bedroom you can go to the bathroom, you can go to the kitchen, and so on.

You know each room has its own separate function but a landing page will be more like a room and just one door it’s either you open that door or you don’t that is the key difference between a landing page and a website.

A landing page you only have one specific action that your customers will take or your potential customers will take it’s either they sign up to join your email list or they leave and why it is more effective is because if I land on your landing page for example and I sign up to your three-day health guide or something like that it’s an indication that I’m raising my hand saying YES I’m interested in hearing from you. That means I deliberately took action to give you my name and my email address so that I can hear from you so that I can get the free guide and I can hear more from you.

That’s the key difference between a landing page and a website.

A website is more like place to look around, especially if a website is not designed properly with the customer in mind. I can go to your website and just look around and leave without any action being taken but if I go to your landing page and I take an action I’m deliberately saying YES I’m interested in hearing from you so that’s the key difference between a landing page and a website.

What You Need on Your Landing Page to Make Sure that It Converts?

Landing Page Anatomy

Header

That’s the first section and in this section you have either an image or a video of some sort. It has to be a strong image that captures your potential customers attention or a video explaining what they’re about to get.

Your header section is the most important section like it’s the first thing that your potential customers see. This needs to capture their attention.

Benefit

Now the second section on all of us here second section is the benefits what do they stand to get by downloading or watching this training or whatever. Just because it is free doesn’t mean that you can’t explain this to them so they need to know what the benefits are what do they stand to get because they’re giving you their email.

You can state like three to five benefits of what they stand to get from this free offer

Testimonials

This is from people who have either worked with you for free or people who have even worked in your paid program. You want to have people who can vouch for you. This definitely testimonials always increases conversion rates, so you want to have two to three testimonials of people who have watched this free training or downloaded this free cheat sheet or guide or whatever and people who can vouch for you and state that you know what you’re saying basically that you know what you’re doing you know what you’re saying.

About Me

This would just be a picture of you and then a little description about yourself who you are what you’ve done, where you’re coming from.
