Hi Okto,
I think that backlinks are still important. Although I don’t spend a lot of time building backlinks to my sites like I used to in the past.
This time around I spend time trying to build relationships with other people. I feel like this will help me in the long run.
At least my site won’t be 100% dependant on Google and I won’t have to worry about them making updates and my sites losing their rankings. Thanks for sharing these tips, I know that they will help people.
Hi Susan,
You are absolutely right. We should concern more about relationship than just backlinks. There’s many we can build through it that is more beneficial than just backlinks. It’s always great to have alternative source of visitors to our blog.

I think the most important method to get more backlinks is to write original and engaging content, which is of exceptional quality. This is extremely tough though.
Hi Okto,
This is the reason why I keep asking myself why some blog with good pagerank were debunked, building a reputable backlinks should be a blogger target and not to gain backlinks in an illegal way which in turn may turn out to jeopardize the future of such a blog. I so much believe in guest blogging and comments when it comes to building backlinks and I believed that is one of the legal to build backlinks that doesn’t hurt.
Hello and thanks for sharing this informative write up. First of all I think building backlinks is still a great way to increase a sites rankings as long as the backlinks are from relevant and authority sites. furthermore, you should always try to build relationships with bloggers in you same niche. Once again thanks for sharing this with your readers and fellow bloggers.
Hi Okto,
Well that kind of make sense to link with blog that are relevant to ours. Even when I comment I try to link the blog that is the most relevant to the blog I’m commenting one. For example on your blog I would link my writing/marketing blog, but at times I do link whatever blog needs to be link to the most.
But I don’t think that you were necessarily talking about comments here. Or were you?
In any case, yes, backlinks are still very important, indeed.
Hi Sylviane,

Hi Jasmine,
I would call that a passive strategy that could attract backlinks from search engine. If we create such content chance is search engines will take our links to their search results page

Hi Adesanmi,
Can’t disagree more Adesanmi. But as far as I concern google start to suspicious on guest blogging these days. May be that’s because many guest bloggers only aim for backlinks that they are never concern about further engagement (like answering the comments of their guest postings).

Google has cut us back down from spamming to manual effort but when everyone is rushing towards the top then its likely that someone is going to suffer in the process!
I still do little backlinking on niche related sites. I much prefer to build relationships with bloggers nowadays than bother that much with backlinking in mass. It does not help now.
Hi Piyus,
Welcome.
That is great point of view. We must have the patience to get the best out of it. Thanks for stopping by and leaving us feedback 🙂
Hi Roach,

Can’t disagree on your statement. Relationships is the backbone of successful business actually when we do try to create backlinks focus on building relationships (not SEO thing) then we will go for the top.

Hi Okto,
I think guest blogging and blog commenting are still best in the eyes to Google to build juicy links to your blog. Backlinks are a part of SEO and I can’t be vanish. I agree that we should avoid unnatural links to our blog which will harm our blog in future.
Hi Saleem,
I do think so. Blog commenting and guest blogging are effective to create a buzz on our existence in online community. The two can easily build awareness on what we are doing.
