Its great to see these webmaster tips about Google listing of site. Of course if we are not updating and not pinging the search engine, we will not be able see our blog often in the Google SERP.
Updates are coming at time and we also need to stay updated. Well the points here about the google listing are worthy.

I guess you are right about the creating content. I’ve already experienced with a new blog as it wasn’t showing up in the google. But later after updating and building some links had helped me to make it normal.
