November 4: World of Warcraft: Forever
Blizzard’s World of Warcraft: Forever launches on PC on November 4. It is a new version of the game built around the original 2004 setting and style of play, with new zones, quests, dungeons and raids added to Azeroth. Gfinity’s roadmap guide, citing Blizzard’s published schedule, lists these milestones:
- November 4, 2026: launch.
- December 9, 2026: three raids unlock: Barrow Deeps (10 players), Hyjal Summit (20 players) and Onyxia’s Lair (40 players).
- Winter 2026: a Hardcore version is planned.
- Spring and summer 2027: further raids, dungeons and PvP seasons.
Check Battle.net for subscription terms and the exact launch time in your time zone, because some outlets report a late-evening start.
November 5: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake
Nintendo announced the remake in June and revealed gameplay and the November 5 date on September 8 during the Zelda 40th anniversary Nintendo Direct. It is exclusive to Nintendo Switch 2. According to Engadget’s coverage, it is a faithful remake of the 1998 original that keeps the structure, dungeons and quest items while adding:
- a visual overhaul with more environmental detail;
- camera controls and a jump button;
- voice acting;
- an in-menu quest log that shows your next objective;
- quicker item swapping; and
- the option to hum ocarina songs into the Switch 2 instead of following button prompts.
Combat appears unchanged from the original, including Z-targeting. Price and edition details were not part of the announcement coverage we reviewed, so check the Nintendo eShop listing before you pre-order.
November 5: Stellar Blade on Switch 2
The action game Stellar Blade, which launched on PlayStation 5 in 2024, is listed for Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5. It is a mature-rated game, so check the rating on the eShop before buying for younger players.
November 10: Warhammer Survivors
Warhammer Survivors arrives November 10 and is listed for PC. Some schedules also show console and mobile versions, but they do not agree, so confirm platforms on the store page you plan to use.
November 12: Three Releases on One Day
Metaphor: ReFantazio (Switch 2)
Atlus and Sega’s fantasy RPG, which launched on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and PC in October 2024, comes to Switch 2 on November 12. The physical Switch 2 edition ships on a game-key card, and a SteelBook edition is available for a limited time at launch in the West. In the story, you travel with a fairy companion to lift a curse from the kingdom’s lost prince, and the game mixes turn-based combat with real-time action. Neither Gematsu’s nor RPGSite’s coverage said whether owners of other versions get an upgrade discount, so assume you buy it fresh unless the eShop says otherwise.
Pikmin 4 Switch 2 Edition
This is an upgraded edition rather than a new game. Check whether it requires a separate purchase or is a paid upgrade if you already own the original Pikmin 4.
Sonic Pico Park
Sonic Pico Park is listed for PC, PS5, Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S.
