Strategy Multitasking Training Activities

Some of you may feel proud when you can do many tasks at once or at the same time.

Even today there are many who are trying to do it. But what is certain, after understanding the explanation of what multitasking means, now continue to discuss the tips and tricks. Let’s see how multitasking training activities can be implemented.

Doing Relevant Jobs

If you want to have the ability to multitask, of course you have to register your work first. In this case, you need to unify and list jobs that are still related to each other to make work easier.

Avoid doing several unrelated tasks because the brain will need a longer adaptation process when doing different things. This will break your concentration and leave you confused. Remember, the brain will work very quickly to change the focus of the mind when doing various tasks. If you force the brain to do work that is not related to each other, the results will not be optimal.

Determining the Priority Scale to Avoid Practical Multitasking

Doing work multitasking means you have to determine the priority scale first. This one step is no less important to become someone who can multitask is to determine the priority scale for each work done.

If you want maximum results, make work based on the level of difficulty because the longer you work, the more tired your brain will be. When the brain is tired then the difficult work that was placed last time will be difficult to complete.

You can prioritize the work from the most difficult to the easiest. When the brain is still fresh, the difficult work will be easier to do. By making this priority scale, work can be completed according to the predetermined deadline.

Determining Deadlines for More Planned Work

Setting deadlines or deadlines is one of the important things to consider when you want to work multitasking. Deadlines will help you in your work and make work more organized. Deadlines will also help you to determine the priority of the work that must be completed first so that it will be more efficient and save time.

Make a to do list to be more organized in doing things

After determining the priority scale and setting deadlines for work, the next thing you need to do is create a to do list.

When working in multitasking, the amount of work is not small so you often forget what to do. To do lists will certainly help organize activities and clarify your goals. You can build a to-do list, from the small things to the most important. Don’t forget to also make it by date so that you can do everything according to the specified deadline.

Actually, a to do list can be done when listing the work that may be done at one time which aims as a reminder so that all the work on the list can be completed properly and on time.

Stay Focused on the Work You Are Doing

Doing work by multitasking will make you faced with several jobs. Therefore, you have to stay focused, especially if you have a lot of things to do. In order to save time, you have to stay focused on the work that needs to be done so that everything can be completed in the allotted time.

Applying Time Discipline At Work

To do lists will end up just as notes if you don’t apply the discipline to work on them. After making a to-do list, you must immediately focus on what can be done. Do not procrastinate because this will only make it more piled up and a waste of time.

Rest When You Feel Tired, Multitasking Means Not Working Until It Hurts!

Even though there’s a lot of work to be done, you shouldn’t neglect taking time off. Take a short break to provide additional energy so you can be more excited about your activities. The perception that less sleep will make you more productive is wrong. Moreover, working overtime without knowing a reasonable time limit. Remember to take a break.

Rest will make you more ready to work with a fresh mind. Remember, a tired body condition will actually make it difficult for you to concentrate which in turn has an impact on work. It doesn’t need to be too long, you can take a little time to rest so that work activities are of higher quality and the results are maximized.

Multitasking = Heavier Pressure

As a business owner or organizational leader, you must realize that staff who are forced to multitask have a greater risk of experiencing burnout/stress than those who do not multitask.

Therefore, you must be wise in your attitude or making business decisions that affect them such as rewards, annual leave, and various forms of organizational attention that can be given to multitasking staff when they experience problems.

Remember always treat humans like humans, never treat humans like machines.

Those are all important multitasking training activities for business owners or organizational leaders to understand. If your organization is forced to multitask, make sure you keep these training guidelines in mind. Don’t forget to bookmark this post as your personal reminder.
