I was not getting the room I wanted. The hotel make last minute change and text me about it. I wasn’t disappointed but there are a few things you might need to know. I was surprised they do that, yet it happened and I did not have any time to find another hotel.

Here are the pros and cons I see if you stay at this hotel:
Cons:
- The price offered does not include breakfast. There is an extra charge for breakfast at the hotel.
- Lobby road space for vehicles is quite narrow (if you use Uber, give free time for traffic jams in front of the lobby). Valet may take long time to handle as well.
- No microwave in the room
Pro:
- Turns out it only takes 10 minutes from this hotel to Jacksonville airport (JAX)
- Breakfast prices are no different from restaurant meals in general
- The location is right in front of the river (as the name implies), perfect for those of you who like to run in the open air
- The hotel accommodate a tax exempt if you are entitled to it.
- The room provides many power sources (I carry a lot of gadgets with me on every trip, so this is very useful)
- There are several choices of restaurants in the hotel lobby, or around the hotel
Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront Review
That’s a simple review of the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville riverfront. I don’t have much time to venture to the tourist attractions around the hotel. I was only able to check-in in the middle of the night, and work was quite busy so I could only return to the hotel in the afternoon. My flight tomorrow is 12 noon. Leaving the hotel at 10 am it turned out that at 10.15 I had arrived at JAX. There are quite a number of restaurants at JAX, so breakfast can be had there if you don’t have time to make it at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville riverfront (check the hotel Here).
