How to Sell Your Content in Social Networks

To sell your content is important moreover if you have a blog for business purposes. Sell it through social networks … many people have done that. This method deemed as the easiest way to promote not only product but also personal brand through your blog. Why? Because billions of people use the social networks today.

If we talk about selling then we should talk about marketing. I believe many bloggers actually have performed content marketing through their blog. But maybe most of you still wondering how to do content marketing using social media ‘the right way’. Many people have made aggressive marketing efforts that you can see from commercial post or tweet that easily found today in Facebook or Twitter. My question is simple, was that method effective? If not, so how it should be?

I think I am fortune enough because I have an online relationship with some expert bloggers. I was helped by Mavis Nong from attractionmarketingonline this time. She is one of the women experts on online marketing. And that was why I contact her to ask her favor in giving explanation about this. I can say she is not just an expert at marketing online but also a generous women in personal.

How did you finally end up here at attraction marketing online ?

I started my blog to build and promote my brand and to share valuable information with the world. When you share value you build some level of credibility and you’re instantly seen as the expert and the leader in your niche market. I’m all about providing solutions to people’s problems. I also love the fact that I can interact with my readers and build relationships. Furthermore, I’m using my blog as a marketing tool, generating leads for me daily, building my list.

I believe every online business people ever have their difficult times, so what is your story? And how did you pass through it?

My very first network marketing business was nothing but an uphill battle. Why? Because I was using traditional offline marketing strategies trying to build my business with no results to show. I did everything I was told to do. I did as many presentations a day as I could, I chased my family and friends, I spent hours on the phone and on e-mail trying to convince people to join me or buy my products and so on.

I got nowhere and I was left miserable and flat broke. I then turned to the internet in search for solutions to rescue my drowning business. I then realised that online marketing was creating a huge potential for entrepreneurs, with the opportunity to market to people all over the world. I turned my back on the ineffective, old marketing methods and embraced the power of online marketing.

Based on your experiences, what is to best describe content marketing? Should every business people aware about it?

If you want to give your content the exposure it deserves and drive more traffic to your blog, then you need to promote it massively.

How actually content marketing could engage with social media?

If you want to get more social media votes, give your content the exposure it deserves and drive more traffic to your blog, then you need to embrace social media marketing. It offers free “word of mouth” advertising.

Do you think social media is important to success content marketing strategy?

Yes. Social media has gotten very big, and it can have a huge impact on your business. If you’re not using social media marketing to grow your business, then you’re really missing out on a massive opportunity to create success.

Social media is so powerful as it offers free word of mouth advertising. Even big companies are using these sites to promote their brand and stay connected to their customers. They send their customers to their social media pages or profiles – the new world of advertising!

Do you think by using facebook and twitter is more than enough to support content marketing efforts?

I use Facebook and Twitter as my main social media networks to promote my content and drive traffic to my blog. Why? They are huge and have a LOT of traffic. Of course, I also use Linkedin and Google+.

I have seen many people use facebook and twitter for online business purposes by posting many commercial status. How do you see this situations?

Aggressively marketing to your social contacts, is a sure fire way to fail. Hence if you are pumping out social media status updates that do nothing else than promote you and your business you might as well stop now. People don’t like to be sold. You need to connect with people and start conversations. Your goal should be to build relationships, trust and respect.

What is your predictions on social media for marketing purposes this year? Is it going to be more effective to create conversions?

Social media will continue to be a very powerful platform for marketers and bloggers, if used properly. It gives you the opportunity to befriend complete strangers and turn them into customers.

You have to understand that people will buy from you effortlessly when their needs match your offer and you don’t need to convince them that you have the best offer on the planet. It’s important that you show them that you care and you have their best interests at heart. Most marketers are using social media to generate FREE leads on a daily basis and turn them into customers.

It is understandable if you see why people do aggressive marketing through social media. There are a lot of business opportunities provided through social media that make many people plunge into online marketing efforts. But strong point that I have learned from Mavis advise is don’t forget the social function of social media even though you are making business from it. In the end only those who use it properly will gain the most advantages.
