I think a lot of people underprice their products because they hate being ripped off themselves and would never want to do that to others.

I think they also fear that if they put too high a price on something no one will buy it. But quite often if you lift your price you get more offers than if the price was really low. I think this is because prospective customers think that something that has a low price tag must be junk so it’s not worth buying.
