Cheap Web Hosting for Small Business

The second consideration is PRICE

4. Reasonable Hosting Prices

The price of a reasonable shared hosting package is usually under $5/month or cheaper than the price of a large glass of ice cappuccino at starbucks.

Unless you choose a package that is labeled by most local hosting providers as a “Business/Enterprise” package but is still in a shared hosting environment, the price can reach $89/month or even $120++/month.

Each hosting server has benefits, make sure you understand what your business need.

5. No Hosting Setup Fee (Setup Fee)

There are several hosting providers I found asking for a fee (setup fee) when buying hosting.

My advice? Avoid them.

Because almost all good hosting providers do not charge a setup fee to their new customers.

Setup fees are ridiculous fees that shouldn’t exist.

6. The Price of Hosting Renewal (Renewal) Is Transparently Listed

These days, almost all hosting providers offer big discounts to their first time clients.

You need to know, the discount is only valid for the first purchase, not when you renew your hosting.

Good hosting providers are usually transparent about prices.

They will include the normal price you have to pay when you renew your hosting in the next period.

The point is, don’t let you have to pay 3x more than the initial price (discount).

7. Free Domains

For beginners, this free domain is very tempting and is usually bundled in certain shared hosting packages and you need to subscribe for at least one year.

What I want to say is:

Make sure that just in case in the future you want to change hosting, you can point the free domain to a new hosting and can also be transferred to another domain provider.

This means, even though you can get your domain for free, its function is still the same, it can be transferred to another provider and the hosting provider will not hinder the transfer process.

8. Minimum 30 Days and Unconditional Refund Guarantee

No one knows, maybe after buying cheap web hosting for small business, then using it, you feel disappointed with the hosting provider’s services.

Whether it’s because of poor uptime, slow load times, poor support or for other reasons that make you uncomfortable.

I always recommend choosing a hosting provider that provides an unconditional 30 day minimum warranty.

This means that you can claim the warranty without the need to follow any terms or rules and the hosting provider should not ask the reason for your cancellation.

In fact, the standard warranty in the hosting industry is indeed 30 days, but there are also many local providers who only provide a guarantee of only 7 days, 14 days, 20 days or some even do not provide a guarantee at all or provide a guarantee but with very strict rules.

In my opinion, a hosting provider that does not provide an unconditional 30-day warranty is a hosting provider who is not confident in its quality.
