10 Disney World Free Activities

Disney World is a place people around the world like to visit especially with children. No wonder you are also interested to take a visit to this place full of enchantments. If you like to save some of your holiday budget, here’s some hidden treasure of Disney world free activities.

1. Downtown Disney

It cost nothing to visit Downtown Disney. There are lots of attractive shops to walk around and a lot of other displays. (If you visit during the day, it is highly suggested to take a hat. Downtown Disney has it’s own miniature environtment – it often appears degrees hotter than the rest of Orlando.) Don’t forget the snoozing man made from lego or the particular magnets at Magnetron Magnetz. Take your time in the Art of Disney store, you may join a trivia quiz every day and win prizes if you answer them all correct!

2. Magic Kingdom Fireworks

Parking is available for free in a short period of time. You can notify the guard that you are visiting the hotel coffee shop. This spot located at the beach of Polynesian or Grand Floridian.

3. Tour of Wilderness Lodge

Ask the guest service for the details of schedule. You may find Mickey hunt activity as well. All important information should be provided by the guest service.

4. Electrical Water Pageant

The show of electrical water pageant runs at night on Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake. There are no certain schedule for the show. The line of barges turn into beautiful light show that appears magical. The show may take only a few minutes yet not many people realize this treasure at the Walt Disney World. The water pageant can also be seen from the beaches of Polynesian, Grand Floridian, and Fort Wilderness Marina.

5. Nature Trails at Fort Wilderness

Fort of Wilderness provides visitor many miles of trails. You will cross cypress woods and pine. You can pay to rent a bike, yet to walk is free.

6. Walt Disney Boardwalk

Best time to enjoy broadwalk is in the evening. Walk around and enjoy the environments. Sometimes there will be street of enchantment performed.

7. Petting Farm

Besides the mile of trails, the Fort of Wilderness also provide petting farm. It is open from 7 in the morning until dusk. Free parking available in a certain day.

8. Garden Tour

Free garden tour available at Beach and Yacht Club Resort. You need to ask guest service for the schedule.

9. Animal Kingdom Lodge

At the animal kingdom lodge, you can take free lobby tour.

10. The Campfire

Another enchantment at the Fort of Wilderness is the campfire. It is available in the evening and free for Walt Disney World resort guest next to Meadow Trading Post. You can take personal camping snacks to toast. At the camp, you will be pleased by the Disney cartoon show on the outdoor large screen.

Unfortunately, the campfire activity is only free for Disney World Hotel guest. Another free activity is a boat ride.

11. Boat Ride

Taking a free boat ride from Downtown Disney to Dixie Landings is best at night. You can park car at Dixie Landings then walk to Downtown Disney. Take your trip back using the boat ride.
